Description
1) Designed to connect two parallel conductors in order to do a
derivation of a secondary conductor, or to close a loop of one
conductor to fit it on an insulator
2) These connectors composed of two parts: upper body and
lower body, having two parallel grooves to receive the
conductor(s); one, two or three bolts passing through the
bodies between the grooves
3) In aluminum clamps, the two bodies made out of high
strength aluminum alloy
4) In bimetallic clamps, the two bodies made out of high
strength aluminum alloy, and to tight a copper conductor,
one groove made with a laminated "Cupal" plate welded
by hot forging which makes molecular link
5) To avoid corrosion between conductor and clamp, the border
of the copper plating protected by UV-proof varnish
6) The bolts made out of hard steel and hot-dip galvanized
7) To warranty a reliable tightening, a pressure pad and a spring
washer inserted under the bolt head
